Dark Match
Intergalactic Pirates vs. 100 Percent Beef
Match Summary: Despite what looked like an obvious mismatch here, 100 Percent Beef brought all the food to the table. Mainly working off the incredible workrate of Rey de la Carne, they kept things interesting for the Pirates and provided an unusually difficult welcoming commitee for them. Regardless, Tachyon escaped certain doom in the form of Rey's squats and managed to get the Pirates working together with a flurry of excellent double team moves on Amber Guesa followed by the Stardust Press for the win. The Pirates sail on.
Back To The Lab vs. The CRITICAL! Errors
Match Summary: This match was basically over the moment Mass Destruction was tagged into the fight. The behemoth was too resilient for the much smaller Dean and Molly to keep down and it forced Barton into a bad situation. Enfermo didn't help matters either by making lip contact with Barton! This gross moment probably was the opening Mass Destruction needed to finish the match with the Run For Cover! powerbomb. We'll have to see if this pillow fort technique by the other team members pays off for the rest of the tourney.
Alastair Anarion vs. Space Tiger 2
Match Summary: Alastair's return was met with a surprising challenge accepted by Space Tiger II. However, the challenge was completely ruined by early interference from Sewer Dragon who was clearly intending to harm Space Tiger II only as a carryover from their trios disagreement and basically left Alastair with a slightly weaker opponent.
Space Tiger II definitely gave his best effort though as his rage from the attack almost got him nearfalls with a couple key Tiger Suplexes, but Alastair and his deadly elbows prevailed in the end after a strike exchange ended in a Rolling Elbow.

The Fine Arts vs. Jokers Wild
Match Summary: The right team prevailed here, but the scars of laughter are damning. Every and all tricks in the book were used by the clown brigade to stop the much more sophisticated team led by Liza LuPone.
Despite a few close calls, it ended up being the conductor of carnage himself in Wolfgang Sokolov ending it with a Crescendo Cutter to get the win. At least some class remains in the tourney.

The Complex vs. The Neon Kingdom
Match Summary: In what can only be described as a colossal upset, the Neon Kingdom pulled off a surprise upset thanks to the strong head of Holy Diver.
It was by no means easy for the bright team as they were basically forced to brawl with the Complex on the outside for a long damn time. It worked though as Hxxisax was left in a bad position near the Kingdom's corner and fell to arguably the most deadly aerial finisher in SUPER NOVA.
Regardless of how the Neon Kingdom ends up in the tourney, one has to wonder two things. How will The Complex handle this massive failure and will it possibly open up the Neon Knights and El Hija to better title chances?
We'll have to wait and see.
