SNGW Comet Number One Contender Battle Royal
Silver HAwk vs. Parachute Rousseau
vs. Tachyon vs. Opogogo
Match Summary: With a fresh infusion of junior talent recently into SUPER NOVA with the addition of teams like the Intergalactic Space Pirates and Star Fleet, it provided us with a good battle royal opportunity here along with some stalwarts in Rousseau and Opogogo.
The match overall was pretty back and forth with no real advantage or risk until after the 15 minute mark. Overall, Tachyon really shined here as he got 2 eliminations with his aerial prowess to meet the SNGW Comet champion down the road.

Mothership Express vs.
Space Tiger III/Nao Iwakura
Match Summary: As expressed in a recent show by Zealot, Mothership Express were still on the hunt for their first win in SUPER NOVA. Well, they got it. However, their win wasn't the big story here.
No knock to ME's chemistry, but something was definitely off with Nao and ST3 as they couldn't fully get on the right page. Mid-match, Nao unexpectedly walked out on his partner in a shocking move.
ST3 did his absolute best to get over the forced handicap situation, but the Express ultimately got the win with a flash pin. An interesting development on both fronts here.

Submission Match
Daniel Damon vs. Masa Tokugawa
Match Summary: Probably not the first match type Masa had in mind to participate in, but Sacrament kind of makes the rules in SUPER NOVA and this seemed punishment enough for interfering in Damon's Rey Del Sol semifinal match against Hyper Earth.
Regardless, Masa striked his way to a couple surprise armbar and mount moves to keep Damon in check. Ultimately though, Damon worked Masa's head well enough to get the win with his signature Katahajime.
Sources say post-match that Damon did not seem to upset with the apocalyptic warrior and actually was mildly impressed. This is a rare emotion for Damon for sure. We'll have to see what that means.

MAR/Galvan Ohms vs.
Ogden Meadows/Ogg The Merciless
Match Summary: Alastair gave his word to Ogden that he had a good partner in mind to gain advantage over the elements. However, nobody expected the return of Ogg (once Ominous) now Merciless after almost a 4 year hiatus recovering from his beatdown at the hands of The Complex.
And he hasn't lost a step as he threw, headbutted, and hammered his way back to relevance. All 4 competitors looked great in this one, but after numerous cuts in play, Ogg picked up a big re-debut W with a spinning Torturerack Bomb. This is turning into quite the stable war.

SNGW Comet Championship Match
Johnny Rocket (C) vs. Mark Spirals
Match Summary: If you blinked, you probably missed half of this match with its fast-paced action. Rocket definitely proved here that he is a credible champion with his onslaught of signature moves and speed.
To Mark's credit, he came back alright with a timely Pele Kick and a Spirals Crush, but Johnny was just too strong at the end as a second "Deal" got the job done. A successful defense and a future defense against Tachyon awaits.

SNGW Gemini Championships MAtch
Neon Knights (C) vs.
A Team of Fire and Ice
Match Summary: The Neon Knights continue to show how impressive their tag reign has been. Despite some recent news from PEWA that Holy Diver would be going to a part-time schedule, he is still giving it 100% in SUPER NOVA.
While their teamwork was unquestioned, Blayze and Sesi probably brought their toughest challenge yet with their expertise. Still, they felt like they needed more as Blayze pulled out the rare Firebird Splash: a move he has not used since he was a masked luchador named Ra almost 13 years ago.
Still, a quick breakup and the Holy Diving Headbutt out of nowhere sealed the deal as the Knights continue to roll on with their reign.

SACRAMENT
vs.
The EArth Protectorate/Ulrich Lang
Match Summary: The Earth Protectorate believed they gained the upper hand on Sacrament by choosing Ulrich Lang for more power and muscle. And for a while, it seemed that way as Ulrich was throwing Germans left and right. However, the match took a turn after Fudo hit 2 BIG sheer drop reverse DDTs with the second resulting in a knockout!
From there, it was back to the normal numbers disadvantage for EP and Sacrament corner Phil Phazer long enough for Zealot to slap on the Regal Stretch for the win.

After the match, Sacrament made sure to send a statement to EP that their distractions were not welcome to their ultimate goal and disposed of them severely.
Meanwhile, Damon was free to take the unconscious Ulrich with him to the back. One has to wonder if this is a sign of recruitment for Sacrament.
Rey Del Sol Final
Alastair Anarion vs. Hyper Earth vs. Justin Starr
Match Summary: Despite their current struggles, Alastair and Earth appeared to use their own SUPER NOVA expertise to gang up on Justin Starr. However, as the match progressed, this turned out to be a failed venture because Alastair is inherently selfish and Hyper Earth is a golem made of rock that is very angry all the time.
Eventually, Starr was able to catch both of them in some late match submission hold and make both of them give up to win the fight in an upset and become the Rey Del Sol to hoist the Sun Plate.

During the celebration, Zealot didn't waste any time to make his presence known to his upcoming SNGW Univeral opponent and tried to get Sacrament to pounce.
However, their plans were thwarted when Nobu and RYOMA stopped their assault from happening...
...and allowed Justin Starr an opportunity to land a big dive and send a message to Zealot. To take over this solar system, Sacrament will have to deal with Sun, Moon, and Starr!
