SNGW Supercluster Championship
Battle Royal
MATCH SUMMARY: I would like to say that the Supercluster curse has taken a hilarious turn, but that would downplay this funny outcome. On the back of not one, but TWO disqualifications, relative unknown Vaudeville clown Janice Carnival stole this little show and continued the defense curse of this belt.
Hija de Holy Diver vs.
Persephone Pollux
MATCH SUMMARY: In a first singles test to get some support from her mentor, La Hija looked pretty strong against another singles debut with Persephone Pollux. Despite the uneven managerial support, there was no real interaction from the sidelines as the girls were showcased well. While La Hija did well, she eventually fell by underestimating one of the many variations of Persephone's cutter.
SNGW Interstellar Number One Contender
Battle Royal
Kojiro Burai vs. Tomas
vs. Crash Mezzanine vs. Hyper Earth
MATCH SUMMARY: A spillover from a previous Supercluster encounter, it's no real surprise this went long. However, Kojiro and Crash exited rather early which left the 2 giants to brawl all out. Weapons, slams, and poor cardio ruled the rest of the match, but ultimately Tomas would fall to the Epicenter Splash for the 3. With this #1 contender spot along with the Cosmic Contract, the options are piling up for the resident golem.
Daniel Damon/Ulrich Lang vs.
Sun and Moon
MATCH SUMMARY: And now on to the first of 2 tag matches taking things to the limit. And for this match, that was almost the case. This was an amazing back and forth affair with many huge moves, strikes, double teams, and nearfalls. Ultimately though, Sun and Moon couldn't pull out the bigger moves in their arsenal to keep their opponents at bay. It looked as though it would come down to a draw, but Ulrich pulled a quick German pin with 30 seconds to spare that somehow did not get broken up by Nobu. A stunning upset and a great match.
Warcraft vs.
A Team of Fire and Ice
MATCH SUMMARY: And just like the last match, this one went the limit where a winner could not be decided. It seemed like in many, many instances of this match that Warcraft would wrap this up as they were the most dominant team, but Savojjin and Blayze would persevere with timely pin breakups and kept Warcraft well distracted.
Regardless of the unfinished result as well as the result from the previous match, it seems like BESERK's next challengers will be tough ones.
